In Honor of our Veterans and their Families

A Message from Palo Alto University President Maureen O'Connor

Today, on Veterans Day, we want to honor all PAU veteran students, faculty, staff and alumni for their service, bravery and love of country.  We are proud of our veterans who continue to serve and those that are taking their can-do attitude, their team spirit, integrity, trust, and clarity of mission, sense of gratitude and results orientation to the world beyond the military – to a needy world where these values also matter and can make it a better place.

In the words of President Barack Obama, on Veterans Day we remember that “honoring those who’ve served is about more than the words we say … it's about how we treat our veterans every single day of the year. It's about making sure they have the care they need and the benefits that they've earned when they come home. It's about serving all of [them] as well as [they]’ve served the United States of America."

So today, please honor all of our veterans and especially our PAU student vets for what they did, for what they are doing now, and for what I know they will do in the future.
